Amazing product
This product has made my health improve greatly. For over 6 years doctors have been unable to truly help me recover from the imbalance that wearing masks during COVID caused my face and nasal areas. When I read about your product and its ability to repair and prevent biofilm, I had to try it. Best product for me. I am a customer for life. Told family about your product. Planning on sending some to my children and their families. Thank you.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Find answers to your most pressing questions about our innovative solutions and technology.

I’ve heard HOCl shouldn’t be stored in clear bottles. Is that true?

No, this is a common misconception about HOCl. While hypochlorous acid is light-sensitive, a clear bottle does not automatically make the product unstable or ineffective. What matters is the complete system, including the formulation, packaging, manufacturing controls, and storage conditions. Briotech’s clear bottles are specifically selected and tested to support product stability. For best results, store your product as directed and avoid prolonged direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Want to learn more? Head to our blog section where we break down the science behind HOCl and debunk common myths about clear bottles, sunlight, and air exposure.

What makes Extra Strength different from Regular Strength?

Regular Strength is ready to use for everyday spills, messes and routine cleaning. Extra Strength has a higher concentration and is designed for more demanding cleaning jobs, stubborn odors, larger spaces and compatible spray or misting devices. It can be used full strength or diluted with distilled water.

Is Extra Strength a sanitizer disinfectant?

No. Extra Strength is designed for cleaning and deodorizing. If you need an EPA-registered product with approved bacteria and virus claims, choose Briotech Sanitizer Disinfectant and follow its labeled contact times

Do I have to dilute my Extra Strength HOCl?

No. Extra Strength is ready to use at full strength. You can also dilute it with distilled water based on your cleaning needs.

Can I use it on fabrics or carpet?

No. Use Extra Strength only on hard, non-porous surfaces. It is not recommended for fabric, upholstery, carpet or other soft surfaces.

Why is the product called Extra Strength?

It contains 0.05% hypochlorous acid, or 500 ppm, making it Briotech’s highest-concentration home-cleaning formula.

Are Briotech cleaning products gentle for use around pets and children?

Yes—when used as directed. Briotech products are powered by Hypochlorous Acid, a substance naturally produced by the immune systems of humans & animals. Our fragrance-free formulas are part of a simplified routine that some describes as a non-toxic cleaning solution when used in homes, offices, nurseries, and pet areas.

Why does the formulation of HOCl matter? Is there a difference?

While Briotech products are formulated with the same core ingredients, each is uniquely optimized for its specific use. We customize the concentration and potency of our active ingredient, Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), to deliver targeted performance—whether for skin, oral care, piercing aftercare, or professional applications.

Why is BRIOTECH a leader in HOCl production, manufacturing, and innovation?

We take a hands-on approach to every step of the process. Unlike others who source HOCl from third parties, we produce our solution in-house at our FDA and EPA-registered facility in Everett, WA.

How does HOCl fight odor?

Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) targets and neutralizes the odor source — not just masking it. It eliminates odor via contact through a natural oxidation process, breaking down and removing the compounds responsible for unpleasant smells. Because HOCl is fast-acting and gentle, it’s an effective deodorizing solution for skin, surfaces, and even hard-to-reach areas.

Do Briotech products have a scent?

Briotech products are unscented and free of added fragrances. You will notice a faint, pool-like smell—this is natural and comes from the pure Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), the key ingredient. No pool smell? It’s likely not potent enough to work.
